I specialize in teaching skills to help individuals or families with teens/children manage stress and achieve balance in their life together.
Individual Therapy
Whether you’ve been in therapy before, or this will be your first time; it is important to feel safe and comfortable enough to talk about things that are causing distress to yourself, or to your family. You may want to meet with me one-on-one to discuss your stressors, hang-ups or whatever is getting in the way. I can help you reclaim the joy of living harmoniously, not just with yourself, but also with the ones you love and with those who love you.
Child/Teen/Family Therapy
Children are a joy and a blessing to the world. And sometimes despite our best efforts as parents we notice that as they grow, they may start having difficulties with school, peers, managing their emotions or simply paying attention.
Teens can be challenging and parents may struggle while navigating their teen’s development. Naturally, teens can and do stumble as they test their sense of identity and independence. In this process, many teens make good decisions that advance them skillfully towards adulthood. If the choices become problematic, trust may be tested and frustration can set in when effective, long-lasting solutions remain elusive.
You child/teen is unique, special and I promise to do my best to discover the roadblocks to their progress. Once these are revealed, I will work with your family to develop solutions that bring about long lasting change, healthy growth, and positive development.
